CLIENT SUPPORT AIDE PT

Location: Coffee CS Closing date: Open until filled

Hourly Rate: $15.39

Job Description: Assists with adult clients enrolled in a day program with daily life, social and academic skills and/or behavior management training. Observes and monitors client's behavior and charts observations and incidents. Serves as role model and provides emotional support and feedback to client & their support system.


Anticipated Schedule: Schedule will vary. Weekend and Holiday rotations.

Competencies: Ability to observe and monitor program participants' behavior; ability to redirect behavioral outbursts; ability to train program participants in routine daily living skills; ability to work flexible hours; ability to participate in supportive guidance. Must be proficient with computers.

Required Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent and six months social services experience. Must be at least 21 years of age. Must possess a valid driver's license with three years driving experience (per policy) to provide transportation and have a clean driving record with no more than 6 points. Experience with developmentally delayed population preferred. must be able to lift 50-100 lbs.
