Accountant

Job overview Schneider is seeking a Corporate Accountant in Green Bay to be responsible for close processes and provide analysis on a broad spectrum of accounting disciplines. The Corporate Accountant will also prepare journal entries and complete reconciliations. Responsibilities Post journal entries during month-end close. Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations. Assist with preparing the monthly enterprise financial reporting package. Assess the effectiveness of control procedures. Develop, document and implement procedures that will produce timely and accurate financial information. Be responsible for subledger accounting, including the associated close processes. Assist with external financial reporting. Conduct special accounting projects and research. Skills and qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting. One to three years of accounting experience. CPA preferred. Experience with ERP systems, such as Oracle. Financial operations and analytical experience preferred. Pay and benefits Medical, dental and vision insurance.
