General Laborer/Yard Worker

General Laborer / Yard Worker Pay: $18.00–$23.00/hour Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–5:00 PM Job Impulse is hiring a General Laborer / Yard Worker to support a team specializing in equipment setup, transportation, installation, and removal at various jobsites. This is a hands‑on, physically active position ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, handling equipment, and contributing to a team environment. What You'll Do Set up, install, maintain, and tear down equipment and systems at jobsites. Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment to and from jobsites. Move and maintain pumps, compressors, generators, hoses, and other equipment. Perform minor equipment repairs and preventative maintenance on vehicles and equipment as directed. Maintain clean, organized, and safe jobsites, yard areas, and shop facilities. Complete required paperwork and follow company procedures. Follow all applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations. Perform additional duties as needed to support daily operations. What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license. Current DOT medical card or the ability to obtain one. Ability to meet applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements. Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in varying and extreme weather conditions. Strong teamwork, time management, and organizational skills. Ability to multitask, adapt to changing priorities, and meet deadlines under pressure. Flexibility to work the hours required to meet job demands. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including prolonged walking and standing, bending, stooping, climbing, and lifting heavy or awkward equipment and materials.
