Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in a lab, test, manufacturing, prototyping, or hardware development environment.
- Associate’s degree or technical certificate in an engineering/technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting precision lab or process equipment.
- Working knowledge of lab safety, chemical handling, SDS, ESD controls, and laser safety.
- Strong documentation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple requests and changing priorities with minimal supervision.
Preferred Skills
- Optical or ophthalmic lens processing, optical alignment, or metrology.
- Experience with camera/display calibration and 3D printers.
- Familiarity with cleanroom environments, adhesive dispensing, and UV curing.
- Soldering, basic electronics rework, AR/VR, consumer electronics, or optics experience.
- Exposure to inventory tracking tools, Jira, Python, or AI-based workflow automation.
