Locum MD (Medical Doctor), DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Hematology Oncology

Responsibilities Evaluate and manage patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop treatment plans Perform necessary diagnostic procedures and interpret results Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care Educate patients and families about treatment options and care plans Stay updated with advancements in hematology and oncology practices Document patient encounters accurately and timely in medical records Participate in tumor board meetings and case discussions Requirements MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Active medical license in the state of Massachusetts Board certification or eligibility in Hematology Oncology Strong clinical skills and knowledge in managing hematologic malignancies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous learning Prior experience in a locum tenens role is a plus Schedule: Beeper call in 7-day stretches (Monday-Sunday) Patient Volume: 2 per shift Patient Population: Pediatrics Hematology Oncology caseload Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses A-rated medical malpractice coverage #J-18808-Ljbffr 77 consultants
