Manager of Grants & Accounting

Job Description Sparks Group in collaboration with its client, a nationally recognized non-profit is searching for a skilled Grants and Accounting Manager. The Grants and Accounting Manager reports to the CFO and is responsible for overseeing accounting duties, preparing financial reports, and managing various federal and non-federal grants. The ideal candidate will ensure that programs adhere to grant terms, approved budgets, and OMB procurement guidelines. Responsibilities Ideal candidates will have experience working at a small-to-midsize nonprofit and exposure to some form or contribution to grant or budget writing. Process bi-weekly payroll and enter payroll journal entries in accounting system Prepare monthly financial reports, assist CFO with preparing annual budget and maintain records for reporting and annual audit Ensure compliance with grant requirements, grant financial reports and approved program budgets Required Skills Minimum of five years of professional experience with a track record of increasing job responsibilities Proficiency in adapting to and utilizing new technology for grant and operational management, including accounting software and project management tools Demonstrated experience in grant proposal development and reporting Familiarity with QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, Excel, and ADP WorkforceNow is desirable This job is Hybrid Remote.
