Gas Truck Driver (Manheim)

Location: must work at a specified Cox location. Compensation: Hourly base pay rate $16.63 - $24.90 per hour, adjusted by location and qualifications. May include commission or incentive program. Responsibilities Distribute and accurately record gasoline disbursed in vehicles. Enter fuel usage in AS400 via portable terminal (PT). Start vehicles, check fuel gauges, mark vehicles that need fuel, and return to fuel them. Report and record auction gasoline levels and alert the proper person to avoid running out of gasoline in the main fill area. Report inoperable vehicles to Supervisor or Assistant Manager. Report damage or malfunctioning equipment on vehicles (e.g., pumps, fuel trucks). Tire plugging/repairing. Assist customers in locating vehicles. Assist in sale day duties as needed (e.g., drive, act as lane leader, jump start vehicles). Assist in audits of gasoline disbursement when necessary. Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling related behaviors. Actively participate in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Three years of experience in a related field. Alternatively, a higher degree or certification beyond a high school diploma in a related discipline, or five years of experience in a related field. Safe driver required; valid driver's license required. Schedule Monday‑Friday 9:00am–5:00pm (Wednesday 7:00am–4:00pm). Work Environment Frequent exposure to wet and/or humid conditions; occasional exposure to outdoor weather, moving mechanical parts, electrical shock hazards, and toxic or caustic chemicals. Moderate noise level. Drug Testing Pre‑employment drug test required. Cox does not administer a marijuana test for this position.
