Overtown Youth Center is seeking a dedicated and student-centered Lead College and Workforce Readiness Success Coach to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a motivated, relationship-driven professional who is passionate about empowering youth and guiding students toward successful postsecondary and career pathways. As the Lead College and Workforce Readiness Success Coach, you will serve as the primary point of contact at the designated school site, leading the implementation of OYC Miami's College and Workforce Readiness program while supervising Coaches and Peer Leaders. Through a comprehensive and engaging support model, students will receive guidance in college advising and readiness, FAFSA and scholarship completion, academic support, career exploration, workforce readiness, postsecondary navigation, and family engagement initiatives. In this role, you will foster a supportive, inclusive, and achievement-oriented environment that encourages student growth, leadership development, confidence, and long-term success. Rather than relying solely on traditional after-school programming, OYC delivers services throughout the school day while also offering supplemental after-school, weekend, and postsecondary engagement opportunities to ensure students receive consistent, accessible, and holistic support.

Oversee implementation of all College and Workforce Readiness (CWR) program components, including individualized coaching, academic monitoring, postsecondary planning, financial aid support, career exploration, and resource coordination for students in grades 9–12.

Supervise, mentor, and support College and Workforce Readiness Coaches and Peer Leaders to ensure accountability, professional growth, and program fidelity.

Coordinate and monitor delivery of OYC's college and workforce readiness curriculum, workshops, leadership development, financial literacy, and postsecondary planning activities.

Plan and facilitate college fairs, career fairs, college tours, vocational tours, workforce exposure opportunities, and other student engagement experiences aligned with program goals.

Monitor student participation, academic progress, FAFSA completion, scholarship applications, and achievement of postsecondary planning milestones while maintaining accurate program records and data reporting.

Ensure program services are integrated throughout the school day while coordinating supplemental after-school, weekend, and postsecondary engagement opportunities.

Serve as a liaison and key point of contact with school administrators, counselors, teachers, community partners, college representatives, and workforce partners to support program implementation and student success.

Maintain a safe, supportive, engaging, and student-centered environment that promotes student achievement, leadership development, and positive youth outcomes.

Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, flexibility, and adherence to organizational policies.

Bachelor's degree in counseling, education, social work, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.

Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in college and career readiness, academic advising, youth development, counseling, or a related field.

Demonstrated knowledge of college admissions processes, FAFSA and financial aid completion, scholarship opportunities, postsecondary planning, and standardized testing.

Proven ability to build meaningful relationships with students, families, school personnel, and community partners while working effectively with diverse populations.

Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Experience facilitating workshops, coaching sessions, or student-centered programming that supports academic achievement, career exploration, and workforce readiness.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, student information systems, and data tracking platforms used for program monitoring and reporting.

Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to successfully complete a drug screening and Level 2 background check.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed to support student engagement activities and program events.
