Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist

Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Travel experience is preferred.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

• Trauma Level 2 experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Medical Center Health System.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: - NICU experience required.

Special Requests: - Facility may be able to accommodate a block schedule of 3 shifts in a row but not guaranteed, and no stretches longer than this.

Unit Details: - Adult med/surg, adult critical care, and general pediatric respiratory coverage. - Neonate, infant, pediatric/adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient population. - All pulmonary processes, including trauma. - Level 3 trauma facility functioning as Level 2; Level 3 NICU.

Shift & Scheduling: - May consider a 36/48 alternating schedule. - Every other weekend. - 9 weekend shifts per contract.

7 days maximum time off

1 reference required from within the last 3 years

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
