Overview ALANTRA is seeking to hire an Investment Banking Analyst to support its M&A and capital raising advisory business. The position is located in Boston, MA. The analyst will work directly with Alantra’s U.S. Managing Directors in a collegial and entrepreneurial environment, where teamwork, creativity and new ideas are welcomed. The ideal candidate is motivated, creative, outgoing, and possesses a strong background in finance and accounting. Responsibilities Conduct industry research and perform individual company analysis Develop financial analysis and models Support creation of client proposals and presentations Manage data room and coordinate due diligence process Recruit, supervise, and develop interns Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned Qualifications Relevant prior experience in corporate finance Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or accounting Knowledge of M&A and capital raising (debt and equity) practices Strong finance/accounting knowledge; ability to analyze and value businesses Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills Excellent analytical, creative and strategic thinking skills Team‑player mentality with ability to work independently Strong organization skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize deliverables Advanced Microsoft Office skills, expert in Excel and PowerPoint FINRA Series79/7 and63 licenses required, or to be obtained within six months of employment Alantra is an international financial services firm with over 540 professionals representing 35 nationalities in 24 offices.
