Veterinary Technician – Marathon Veterinary Hospital Location: Marathon, Florida. Part‑time with rotating weekends. This role supports outpatient treatment, laboratory work, surgeries, and client communication under the guidance of veterinarians. Role Responsibilities Support veterinarians and the medical team to ensure high‑quality care and positive patient flow. Assist with surgeries and procedures in accordance with state regulations for credentialed veterinary technicians. Communicate with clients about pet health concerns, medications, and Thrive Membership options. Maintain comprehensive medical records and use practice management systems. Obtain health history, maintain charts, and use safe restraining techniques. Keep exam rooms, labs, and treatment areas clean, sterile, and organized. Guide, mentor, and support fellow team members. Experience & Skills Requirements Preferably one year of recent experience in an emergency or specialty setting. Commitment to working within a team environment. Positive, will‑do attitude. Strong communication and relationship‑building skills. Proven ability to multi‑task in a busy setting. Professional demeanor and outgoing personality.
