Our supply chain network now branches across the Pacific and into North America.POSITION: Inventory SupervisorREPORTS TO: Inventory and Purchasing SupervisorShift: 1stLocation: Onsite Lockbourne, OHRESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSCompiling reference data from a variety of sources.Communicating with internal staff and vendors when needed.Maintaining documents, files and records; ensuring the availability of documentation and compliance with established policies.Inventory replenishment for various locationsData entry: adjustments, transfers, receipts, etc.Reviewing documents and data to ensure the completeness and accuracyMaintains records and follow up on files of purchases, shipments and related matters.Work with management to observe disciplinary issues, attendance, and performance of direct reportsCommunicate position expectations and train employeesDefine staffing needs and allocate workloadImplement new methods, processes, and improvementsConsult and organize activities with other teams and departmentsEnforce safety standards and complianceOversee a team of 10 or more employeesAssign teams and allocate work fairly and in a way that best uses employees’ skillsQUALIFICATIONS NEEDED3+ years of inventory experience in DC or manufacturing environment3+ years of supervisory experienceAnalytical, organized, detail-oriented, and professionalAbility to work independentlyFast paced aptitudeStrong leadership skillsAbility to train and provide instructions on inventory processesAccurate data entryExceptional Microsoft Excel & Email skills.Ability to collaborate with other members of management to solve issues and develop solutionsProven satisfactory leadership, organizational and communication skills.
