Travel RN – Medical/Surgical (Night Shift)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Projected Start: July 20, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Spine/Med-Surg unit with a patient ratio of 6:1 (with LPN support)
• Perform wound and dressing care on post-operative burn and flap patients
• Operate and monitor unit equipment including Hoyer lifts, air mattresses, wound vacs, and PCA pumps
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, LPNs, and patient care technicians

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital Med/Surg experience (2 years preferred)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Travel nursing experience or willingness to work in a travel assignment capacity

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Burn care experience
• Wound care and/or ostomy care experience
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
