Monday to Friday hours vary between 6:00am‑6:00pm; additional hours and rotating weekends may be required. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and related studies. Enter patient information accurately and in a timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. California state issued Phlebotomy license (CPT). An application for a phlebotomy license filed with the CA Department of Health at time of hire may satisfy the license requirement. At least 21 years of age. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Reliability and flexibility to work overtime as needed. Preferred Qualifications 1+ year of experience as a phlebotomist. Current or prior experience with Labcorp. 6 months or more experience with geriatric and pediatric patients. Pass a standardized color‑blindness test. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team under minimal supervision. Compensation & Benefits Pay Range: $21.00–$33.00 per hour plus Float Incentive: additional $1.50/hr and mileage reimbursement. Phlebotomists may be eligible for the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
