Highlights Location: Neptune, NJ Facility: Jersey Shore University Medical Center Schedule: Per Diem, Night shift What You'll Do Deliver nursing practices according to evidence-based research and standards of care. Communicate ongoing patient status and treatment plans with healthcare team members. Administer medications utilizing advanced bar-scanning and documentation technologies. Document patient assessments, plans of care, interventions, and evaluations electronically. Provide patient and family-centered education for health optimization and disease management. Participate in multi-disciplinary discharging of patients to ensure safe transitions. Requirements Education: BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire. Experience: Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience; 1 year telemetry/med surg experience preferred. Licenses & Certifications: Current and valid New Jersey Registered Nurse license required; BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association required within 60 days of hire; Telemetry certification with ACLS preferred.
