Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an acute care hospital setting in Urbana, IL, with Epic EMR experience and Level 1 Trauma background required.

Details

• Acute care inpatient therapy unit at a hospital setting
• Day shift, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
• 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day
• No weekend or holiday shifts required
• No floating requirements
• Epic EMR used; experience required

Requirements

• Illinois PT license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Level 1 Trauma experience required
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required
• New graduates will be considered
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients of all ages, developing and modifying individualized plans of care, and documenting in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards
• Collaborates with patients, families, and the broader medical team to communicate patient status, discharge planning, and equipment needs
• Provides supervision to PTAs and rehabilitation technicians in accordance with regulatory guidelines
• Serves as a clinical resource for staff and students
• Contingent workers may not remain on continuous assignment at this health system for more than 1 year; a 6-month break in service is required before returning to any facility within the system
• RTO is limited to no more than 7 days per 13-week contract
