How you'll make an impact in this role * Perform basic patient monitoring activities under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). * Remain at bedside of assigned patient at all times unless relieved by an appropriate staff member. * Assist in calming and/or reorienting patient in cases of agitation or confusion. * Remove visible hazards and/or broken equipment from immediate environment and report as appropriate. * Record all observations. What minimum requirements you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: * BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. * Certification specializing in Crisis Prevention preferred. Education: * High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. * Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
