Speech Language Pathologist (Pediatric)

Speech Language Pathologist (Pediatric) – Requirements & Responsibilities 1 year of previous pediatric experience is preferred; Clinical Fellows will be considered. Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited college or university. Active North Carolina Licensure in SLP and ASHA certification. Pass a Background Check. Acts as a supervisor for CFs and SLPAs in the clinic. Responsibilities Complete evaluation, treatment, consultation, and discharge planning for children in an outpatient clinic. Accurate documentation in EMR system. Detailed and thorough communication with child's healthcare providers through progress reports, phone calls, and other forms of communication. Assess and make recommendations regarding appropriate assistive technology and/or adaptive equipment as needed. Physical Demands The employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is also frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to assist patients in standing/sitting; reach with hands and arms. Lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs. is also required.
