If your skills and experience are a good match for this role, please apply today.Job DutiesOperate, monitor, and adjust packaging machinery to meet production goalsMonitor multiple machines and respond quickly to operational needsRecord production data, machine readings, and operational informationPerform routine quality checks to ensure product standards are metUtilize computer systems to track production and equipment performanceMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaCommunicate production issues and equipment concerns with team members and supervisorsFollow all safety, quality, and operational proceduresEducation RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED preferred. Technical training or manufacturing education is beneficial.Experience RequirementsExperience operating manufacturing or production equipment. Ability to read work instructions, production schedules, and basic technical documentation. Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to monitor equipment for proper operation. Ability to perform quality inspections and maintain production standards. Commitment to workplace safety, attention to detail, and dependable attendance.Preferred QualificationsPrevious machine operation, manufacturing, production, or industrial experience is preferred. Experience performing machine setup, tooling changes, troubleshooting, or preventative maintenance is beneficial. Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality systems, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate mechanical ability, reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to quality are well positioned for success as a Packaging Machine Operator.Physical CapabilitiesStand and walk for up to 12 hours per shift Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment while maintaining awareness of moving machinery.
