Job Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric clients using a mix of standardized assessments and hands-on observations.
• Design customized treatment plans tailored to individual communication, cognitive, or swallowing goals.
• Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions concentrating on a range of skills, including language, voice, fluency, and swallowing.
• Work alongside a diverse team of therapists, physicians, nurses, and family members to foster collaborative care decisions.
• Provide comprehensive education to patients and their families to ensure continued progress beyond therapy sessions.
• Participate in inpatient evaluations and treatments, ensuring a seamless continuum of care.
• Keep meticulous records and documentation in accordance with state, federal, and organizational standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of the latest advancements in the field.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for candidates not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications Required

• Active state license as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Preferred certification in Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) credentials required within one month of hire.
