Mechanical/Dimensional Inspector

System One is seeking a Mechanical/Dimensional Inspector to support our customer at their Turtle Creek, Pa. facility.


This is a full-time, temp-to-perm position requiring hands-on dimensional inspection experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment.


Pay: $28 an hour
Prefer Local, but will entertain out of state for the right candidate with per diem



Key Responsibilities:

• Perform precise dimensional inspections using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and other precision hand tools

• Measure geometric tolerances and verify dimensions per engineering drawings

• Interpret complex blueprints, engineering specs, and GD&T requirements

• Document inspection results accurately and maintain required records

• Inspect components for conformity, defects, and compliance with applicable standards

• Support quality and production teams as needed

Requirements:

• High School Diploma + 3 years dimensional inspection experience
  
  OR
  Associate’s degree (or higher) + 1 year relevant experience

• Hands-on experience with dimensional/machine shop tools

• Strong understanding of mechanical inspection methods

• Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings & GD&T

• Preferred: ANSI Mechanical/Dimensional Inspector Certification

• Preferred: VT/PT certifications (higher pay range for certified candidates)
