The Associate Portfolio Manager - Equity and Fixed Income plays a key part in Evergreen's investment process by trading and monitoring portfolios, monitoring and implementing restrictions, researching securities, tracking markets, making recomendations and preparing analysis that portfolio managers rely on to make decisions. This position reports to the Chief Investment Officer and works closely with the firm's portfolio managers. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a proactive work ethic, and the ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy. We seek a professional who is passionate about financial markets, demonstrates intellectual curiosity, and is eager to contribute to the firm's investment success. This is an in-office role.

Key Responsibilities

\n

•Execute and oversee trades through various custodians and trading platforms, ensuring precision and compliance with investment mandates.    

\n

•Conduct fundamental and quantitative analysis of equities and fixed income securities across various sectors, in public and private markets, providing actionable investment recommendations.

\n

•    Collaborate with the investment team to support portfolio construction, risk management, and asset allocation strategies.

\n

•    Track macroeconomic trends, interest rate movements, and credit markets to assess potential portfolio implications.

\n

•    Develop and maintain models for security valuation, scenario analysis, and fund flows using advanced spreadsheet and statistical techniques.

\n

•    Maintain and enhance databases, ensuring accurate collection and synthesis of research information.

\n

•    Assist with ad hoc research projects and contribute to the development of investment strategies.

\n

•    Support due diligence and ongoing monitoring of external investment managers and fixed income funds under the guidance of senior team members.

\n

•    Prepare drafts of written reports, presentations, and market updates for review by senior investment staff prior to internal or client distribution.

\n

Required Qualifications

\n

•    Minimum 3 years of related experience in investment analysis, fixed income research, or a similar role.

\n

•    High integrity and a strong sense of responsibility.

\n

•    Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.

\n

•    Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate investment insights clearly.

\n

•    Proficiency in digital research tools and financial market analysis.

\n

•    Detail-oriented mindset with a deep understanding of risk management and trade execution.

\n

•    Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and collaborate across departments.

\n

Preferred Qualifications

\n

•    Experience using Bloomberg Terminal or other financial data platforms.

\n

•    CFA charter holder or actively pursuing the CFA designation.

\n

•    Prior experience in the financial industry, with a solid understanding of fixed income and/or equity markets.

\n

•    Familiarity with performance attribution, fixed income risk modeling, and credit analysis.

\n

Compensation

\n

$100,000 - $140,000 plus performance bonus.
