Job Description Elite Spine and Sports Physical Therapy has an opportunity for an energetic and customer-focused Physical Therapist for our Wilkes-Barre clinic. What You’ll Do: Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on the evaluation results Review the physician's referral (prescription) and the patient's condition and medical records to determine the physical therapy treatment required Provide direct patient care by established protocols and patient care guidelines Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers Responsible for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians Complete a written plan of care, develop goals based on evaluation findings, and develop a comprehensive program to attain goals Implement physical therapy treatment program and provide essential physical therapy treatments Communicate effectively with patients/caregivers and professional colleagues, including physicians and insurance companies Ensure timely documentation, including daily notes, weekly workers' compensation reports, progress reports, initial evaluations, discharge summaries, and incident reports Qualifications Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program Current state of Pennsylvania license, CPR certification Exercise, sports rehab, and manual-based skills Outgoing and energetic personality New graduates welcome to apply Additional Information Competitive salary ($82,000+ dependent upon experience and specialties) Bonus structure that pays every payroll Excellent benefits package including 401k, health (BlueCross/BlueShield) choice of 4 plans, dental, vision, paid LTD and life insurance, HSA, generous paid time off, and more Continuing education reimbursement Training and support Multiple opportunities for professional development, specialization, and leadership Clinic mentorship Employee discount plans Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Family-friendly work environment Investment from a company that wants you to succeed and thrive Job Location #J-18808-Ljbffr US Physical Therapy
