Production Line Specialist

The Production Line Specialist is responsible for food manufacturing and processing in an assembly line. Job duties include operating the station on a food production line and producing food products within specifications as required on the daily schedule. The role also involves producing food products within the specified quality requirements, following and promoting food safety, and practicing and enforcing all GMPs and appropriate food defense techniques. The specialist monitors products as they are produced to ensure high quality and that product meets all specifications. Duties are performed in a safe manner and comply with all regulations and company policies. The production area in the facility is cleaned and sanitized, and the specialist informs the supervisor and/or manager of any equipment malfunctions or other production issues as they arise. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays upon occasion is required. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications include a minimum high school diploma or equivalent, 1 year or less of applicable job experience, ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Knowledge of manufacturing procedures and operations is preferred. Experience and desire to support a culture built on collaboration, sharing of ideas, and celebration of successes as well as drive for positive outcomes with cross-functional teams are also required.

Shifts: 7am-3:30pm currently working mandatory OT with a start time of 5am.
