Stand-Up Forklift /Warehouse Associate Support About the job Stand-Up Forklift /Warehouse Associate Support Hiring: Stand-Up Forklift /Warehouse Associate Support Location: North East Houston, TX Schedule: Day shifts: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM 6:00 PM Must be flexible with start/end times based on department needs. Key Responsibilities Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts safely and efficiently. Perform daily equipment inspections and report any deficiencies or unusual noises. Secure loads properly before transporting materials. Stay aware of surroundings and alert co-workers before moving materials. Follow all company policies and report any safety risks to management. Attend required training and safety meetings. Assist with stock checks and physical inventory counts. Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned. Maintain stock in an organized fashion on shelves or in designated areas. Physical & Environmental Requirements Regular exposure to moving material. Frequent grasping, reaching, squatting, and climbing. Commitment to work additional hours as needed. Prolonged standing, walking, stooping, bending, and lifting (up to 50 lbs). Skills & Qualifications Minimum 2 years of distribution experience in a manufacturing environment. Basic mechanical skills for safe tool/equipment handling. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to prioritize, manage time, and work in a team environment. Positive, energetic, and dependable work ethic.
