Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to labor and delivery patients with a 1:2 nurse to patient ratio.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs, progress, and treatment interventions using Meditech EMR.
• Assist in obstetric procedures such as SVD, cerclages, C-sections, and TOLAC.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure accurate and timely communication with patients, families, and medical staff.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant environment adhering to facility guidelines and policies.

Qualifications

• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and intermediate fetal monitoring certifications.
• Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Texas.
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Proficiency in Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM), SVE competency, and C-section circulation.
• Strong communication skills and team-oriented attitude.
• Experience in Level IV labor and delivery unit is preferred.
