Interventional Radiology TechnicianFrom decreased recovery times and decreased costs, to less pain and shorter (if any) hospital stays, interventional radiology, which uses radiological technology to perform minimally invasive interventional techniques, is revolutionizing the way many health services are delivered.Responsibilities include:Acting as the first point of contact for referrals and patientsAttending patient consultationsPerforming initial examinations and patient assessmentsMaking recommendations to the referring physician, the patient, and patient's family under the guidance of the interventional radiologistPerforming daily rounds and communicating patient progress to the medical staff and the radiologistPopulation: Adult and Geriatric Procedures: Cardiac catheterization, EP ablations, peripheral angiograms, cerebral angiograms, and TEE/Cardioversions.Required experience and qualifications:2 years of current experience in cardiac cath and interventional radiologyExperience providing moderate sedationBLS and ACLSCOVID and FLU vaccination requiredCopy of agency's IL nursing license included in submissionPreferred experience:Prior travel experiencePrior Cerner experienceProfile requirements:ResumeSkills checklist (within 1 year)2 Supervisory referencesCertifications (must be active at time of submission)License (must be active at time of submission)COVID card/statusAgency IL nursing licenseCertification requirements:ACLS (AHA)BLS (AHA)State license requirements:Illinois
