Home Health AideThe Home Health Aide carries out supportive duties by performing specified, non-clinical medically related skills under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse or Agency designated health care professional.Duties And ResponsibilitiesProvides assistance with personal care, hygiene and activities of daily livingAssist client(s) to bed, commode, chair, and assist with ambulationMeasures and records temperature, pulse and respiration of each client visitFollows care plan as writtenPerforms duties of a Home Health Aide/Certified Nursing Assistant as per the scope of practice and Florida LawChange pt. bed linen as neededConducts self in a professional manner at all times and in all situationsProvides agency with all required items necessary for employmentReports any changes in patients' condition, living conditions etc. to RN/Supervisor as they occurComplies with HIPPA Privacy Rules, Policies and ProceduresQualificationsHigh School Graduate PreferredMust provide evidence of formal training and/or certification as a home health aide/ C.N.A as required by State LawMinimum of 1 year experience is requiredMust demonstrate competency training and evaluation prior to employment
