Nurse Practitioner/Advanced Practice Registered NurseJob Overview We are seeking a Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our dynamic perioperative care team, providing patient-centered care that ensures seamless continuity from surgical decision-making to recovery and beyond. As part of an interdisciplinary team, you will collaborate with anesthesia providers and surgeons to deliver individualized, evidence-based care aimed at optimizing patient health, reducing complications, and enhancing the overall patient experience. This position will primarily be based at WellStar hospital sites in Marietta, Roswell, and/or Austell, with potential coverage at other locations as needed, pending additional credentialing.What is a Perioperative Clinic? A perioperative clinic is a specialized setting focused on the care of patients before, during, and after surgery. It aims to prepare patients for surgical procedures, manage their health conditions to reduce surgical risks, and facilitate recovery post-surgery. The goal of the clinic is to ensure that patients are in optimal health prior to surgery, that any underlying medical issues are addressed, and that they receive comprehensive care throughout the perioperative period, which spans from the decision for surgery, through the surgery itself, and during recovery.
