Fullstack Developer

Optomi, in partnership with a leading enterprise level company, is looking for a Full Stack Developer to join their team based out of Dallas, TX. This is a contract to hire position that will not be able to sponsor. Position Summary They are seeking a Full Stack Developer to join a new initiative focused on building data-driven platforms and Agentic AI capabilities. This team is developing next-generation systems that bring together large volumes of data to generate insights, calculations, and intelligent workflows within their real estate ecosystem. This role will work closely with senior engineers and architects to build scalable applications that support data-driven decision making. It’s an exciting opportunity to join a project in its early stages, contributing to systems that will evolve into advanced AI and machine learning solutions over time. The ideal candidate is a strong software engineer who enjoys working with data, learning new technologies, and contributing to modern engineering environments built on open-source tools. What the right candidate will enjoy 90% remote schedule with covered visits to company headquarters Great culture with an uplifting work environment A culture that allows people to grow and learn new things What type of experience does the right candidate have Experience as a Full Stack or Backend Developer Solid working experience with at least one frontend framework Experience developing applications using Java and/or Python Database experience (RDS, NoSQL) AWS or Azure experience architecting scalable, secure, and cost-optimized cloud applications. Strong understanding of leveraging cloud technologies for different use cases. Hands-on experience building or integrating GenAI solutions What the responsibilities are of the right candidate Contribute to the development of full stack applications that integrate large datasets and analytics capabilities. Work with senior engineers to build systems that support Agentic AI workflows and intelligent data processing. Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Python. Assist in building scalable APIs, data integrations, and application features. Work with modern open-source technologies and data platforms. Collaborate with engineers and data-focused teams to solve data-driven business problems. Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality software.
