Location: Evansville, IN

Facility: Ascension St. Vincent Evansville

Department/Specialty: Infusion

Schedule: Full Time | Days | 7:30am-4pm and 7:30am-6pm (two 8 hour and two 10 hour shifts per week) weekend and holiday's to fit the department needs.

How you'll make an impact in this role

Deliver compassionate patient-centered care: Provide direct, high-quality nursing care tailored to individual needs, adhering to safety protocols to promote comfort, healing, and clinical excellence.

Champion patient care plans: Implement, monitor, and adapt individualized care plans while tracking patient progress and communicating critical condition updates to ensure timely clinical decisions.

Lead multidisciplinary collaboration: Serve as the primary advocate and central coordinator across all care disciplines, ensuring a seamless, well-aligned treatment journey for every patient.

Execute critical medical orders: Accurately carry out physician and nursing directives to maintain clinical momentum and protect patient safety at every stage of treatment.

Orchestrate safe, smooth transitions: Assess and coordinate discharge planning needs alongside the broader healthcare team, empowering patients and families for success beyond their hospital stay.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required.

Additional Preferences:

• One year of critical care or medical surgical experience desired.
