firstPRO 360 is assisting our client in the Sandy Springs client seeking two Workers’ Compensation Coordinators. In this role you will manage workers’ compensation cases from the initial appointment through patient release. This role works closely with physicians, patients, attorneys, employers, adjusters, and case managers.

• Coordinate Workers’ Comp appointments, follow-ups, authorizations, and patient communications.
• Obtain treatment authorizations for PT, FCEs, second opinions, surgery, and other physician orders.
• Schedule Workers’ Comp, second opinion, and IME appointments.
• Maintain accurate insurance, patient, and case information in the EMR.
• Follow up on missed appointments and resolve Workers’ Comp issues.
• Communicate patient updates, pre-certification status, and work restrictions to physicians.
• Maintain relationships with employers, carriers, adjusters, and case managers.
• Submit PPD ratings promptly following patient discharge.
• Assist with Workers’ Comp billing, documentation, and case management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of healthcare experience.
• Strong knowledge of Workers’ Compensation insurance and medical terminology.
• Knowledge of ICD-10/CPT codes and EMR systems; eClinicalWorks preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, customer service, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Professional, detail-oriented, and discreet.
• CWCP or MPWCP certification preferred.
• Knowledge of the Department of Labor provider portal preferred.
