Commercial and personal insurance agent

Job Description

We are seeking a Commercial and Personal Insurance Agent with a focus on the trucking industry. This role involves attending the public, providing insurance quotes, and delivering excellent customer service. Our agents handle a variety of insurance needs including commercial trucking accounts, home, and personal auto policies. An active insurance license is preferred to effectively serve large commercial accounts, individual clients, and small businesses within a collaborative sales team environment.

Responsibilities

Consult with clients to assess insurance needs
Provide accurate insurance quotes for commercial and personal policies
Deliver exceptional customer service and support
Manage and maintain client insurance policies
Drive sales and achieve performance targets
Keep detailed records of client interactions and transactions
Stay informed on industry trends and insurance products

Preferred Qualifications

Entry-level experience in insurance sales
High school diploma or equivalent
Active insurance license
Strong customer service skills
Proven sales abilities
