Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of families and couples to identify underlying issues and dynamics affecting their relationships.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients about the impact of their behaviors and emotional responses on familial relationships.

• Develop tailored intervention plans that address specific needs, utilizing techniques informed by family systems theory and culturally competent practices.

• Facilitate therapeutic sessions that promote open communication and conflict resolution, helping clients make incremental progress towards their goals.

• Support families in navigating crises, processing grief, and implementing strategies to stabilize their home environments, including enhancing educational outcomes for children.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse array of clients, including families facing chronic stressors, couples in conflict, and individuals seeking to improve their relational skills. Your role is integral to helping these clients develop healthier coping mechanisms and effective communication strategies, ultimately fostering a more harmonious family dynamic.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

• Possession of all state-mandated licenses to practice as a marriage and family therapist in Massachusetts.

• Demonstrated experience as a marriage and family therapist, highlighting knowledge of therapeutic techniques and family systems.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and their families.
\n
• A deep-seated compassion for individuals experiencing interpersonal difficulties.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
