Job Title Service Manager Location Firestone Complete Auto Care – Canton Harmont Overview Firestone Complete Auto Care is seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Manager to join our team. This position is ideal for a results-driven leader with strong customer service and automotive knowledge. The Service Manager oversees daily shop operations, manages the technician team, and ensures every customer receives top-quality service and honest recommendations. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership Supervise and motivate technicians and service staff to maintain high productivity and morale. Coordinate daily workflow and ensure timely completion of repair and maintenance jobs. Sales and Customer Relations Provide accurate quotes and sell recommended jobs based on vehicle needs. Build strong relationships with customers through clear communication and transparency. Strive to exceed customer satisfaction goals and store sales targets. Operations Management Order and manage inventory and parts efficiently to support fast turnaround times. Ensure adherence to company processes, quality standards, and safety protocols. Assist with payroll management and scheduling to balance labor costs and coverage. Performance and Financial Management Monitor and manage daily sales, productivity, and profitability metrics. Lead by example in achieving individual and team sales goals. Contribute to business growth through proactive shop management and staff development. Qualifications Previous experience in automotive service management or a related role preferred. Strong technical understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair. Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities. Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with point-of-sale and scheduling systems. Compensation and Schedule Schedule: Approximately 42 hours per week (full-time, variable schedule including some weekends). Compensation: Hourly pay plus overtime.
