VA Nurse

Duties

Help functions to deliver and coordinate safe, efficient, and effective patient care throughout all areas of the facility. Provides care and directs others in the promotion and maintenance of health and prevention of illness and injury based upon the nursing process which includes systematic data gathering, assessment, appropriate nursing judgment, and evaluation of human responses to actual or potential health problems. Executes medical regimens including administering medications and treatments prescribed by a licensed or otherwise authorized provider. The nurse's primary commitment is to the patient, whether an individual, family, group, or community and the facility. Manages Hours Per Patient Day and resource allocation. Staffs units as appropriate, and serves as a resource for the department of Nursing.

Licensure

1 full and unrestricted license from any US State or territory

Preferred Experience

3-5 years Critical Care Experience

Supervisory or Charge Nurse Experience

3-5 years recent experience working as a Registered Nurse

Long Term Care Experience within past 5 years Ability to multi task PI involvement

Work Schedule

Evenings, Nights, Weekends and Holidays- compressed tours available
