This is an exciting opportunity for a quality leader who thrives in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment and is committed to protecting consumers, supporting customers, and building a strong culture of food safety and continuous improvement.Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, this leadership position plays a critical role in overseeing all aspects of food safety, quality assurance, sanitation systems, and SQF compliance throughout the organization.If you are a collaborative leader who enjoys solving problems, developing teams, and driving operational excellence, we want to hear from you.What You'll DoAs our Quality Control Manager, you will: Lead and continuously improve our quality management systems Serve as the facility SQF Practitioner, Food Defense Coordinator, and Recall Coordinator Oversee all Food Safety, Food Quality, and Sanitation programs, including development, implementation, training, verification, and maintenance Lead internal, customer, and regulatory audits Monitor production processes to ensure products meet specifications and customer expectations Investigate customer complaints, identify trends, and implement sustainable solutions Drive corrective and preventive action initiatives (CAPA) Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Purchasing, Product Management, Commercial teams, and Plant FSQA Develop and deliver training programs related to GMPs, HACCP, food safety, and product quality standards Monitor key performance indicators and communicate quality performance to senior leadership Foster accountability and support disciplinary processes related to food safety and quality standardsWhat We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Quality Management, or a related fieldProven leadership experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, or Food Safety within a manufacturing environmentStrong knowledge of food safety systems, SQF requirements, HACCP, GMPs, and quality management principlesExperience leading audits and managing regulatory compliance programsExcellent communication, coaching, and leadership skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentProficiency with quality management systems and softwarePreferred Qualifications:SQF Practitioner experienceFood Safety, HACCP, PCQI, or related certificationsQuality certifications such as ASQ, CQM, or equivalentWhy Join Kitchen Fresh Foods?At Kitchen Fresh Foods, quality is more than a department—it's a commitment that touches every product we make and every customer we serve.We offer:A collaborative and team-oriented cultureOpportunities to lead impactful initiativesA growing company with opportunities for advancementThe ability to influence food safety and quality at every level of the organizationCompetitive compensation and benefitsReady to lead quality excellence?
