Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Provides comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room, ensuring timely and effective treatment while adhering to clinical standards. Supervises and collaborates with healthcare team members to deliver optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and document patient conditions promptly upon entry to determine immediate care needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments and clinical guidelines.
• Coordinate with physicians, technicians, and other staff to deliver efficient emergency care.
• Educate patients and families on treatment procedures, discharge instructions, and safety protocols.
• Monitor patient progress, evaluate treatment effectiveness, and adjust care plans as needed.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety regulations, and documentation standards.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of two years recent experience in emergency or acute care.
• Valid BLS certification; ACLS and PALS certifications required.
• Demonstrated proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system.
• Ability to work night shifts and handle high-pressure situations effectively.
