Associate Creative Director

Hybrid, a division of EAB , is hiring an Associate Creative Director to help lead and expand its U.S. creative offering. This hybrid role in Richmond, VA combines hands‑on creative leadership, client‑facing strategy, and collaboration with teams in Philadelphia to strengthen culture and delivery across brands and campaigns. What you’ll do Support winning and delivering U.S. creative work for higher education partners , including presenting ideas and participating in new business pitches . Partner with the Executive Creative Director to develop Hybrid’s U.S. creative offering and support the growth of the Philadelphia creative team . Provide strategic creative direction across brands and campaigns, guiding projects from initial concept through completion . Collaborate with the global creative team to deliver high-quality work and help build a collaborative creative culture in Philadelphia . Manage, motivate, and support creative team members with clear direction and constructive feedback . Work with account and creative leadership to prioritize workloads, coordinate resources, and oversee project delivery. Review and approve creative work for design quality, accuracy, attention to detail , and production feasibility . Partner with leadership including the Director of Accounts to cultivate and maintain key client relationships . What you’ll bring 6+ years of experience in the creative industry. Strong graphic design skills with in-depth knowledge of branding, design, typography , and creative problem-solving . Experience developing creative work across brands and campaigns . Experience leading creative teams and overseeing projects from concept through completion . Strong presentation and communication skills, including the ability to explain creative ideas and build rapport with clients. Ability to collaborate across teams, manage competing priorities , and maintain close attention to detail. Compensation The anticipated starting salary (base) range for this role is $95,000 - $105,000 per year . Actual salary varies based on factors including relevant experience, skills, and location. At EAB, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the starting salary range for their role.
