Job Description
ECU Health Physicians and Outer Banks Health Gastroenterology, in partnership with the Outer Banks Health Medical Group, are seeking a BE/BC Gastroenterologist to start a new practice located in Nags Head, North Carolina. New graduates are encouraged to apply.

The Outer Banks offers 175 miles of stunning beaches, crystal-clear waters, and ample opportunities for fishing, boating and exploration on the barrier islands of North Carolina. Opportunity Highlights Include:
• Employment by ECU Health Physicians in partnership with Outer Banks Health
• Privileges at the Outer Banks Health Hospital
• Opportunity due to expansion of services due to an increased need for access to GI care in The Outer Banks
• Ambulatory and inpatient responsibilities
• Unique opportunity to start a new practice with full practice support provided by the largest health system in eastern North Carolina
• Built-in referral network from Outer Banks Health primary care and general surgery practices
• Clinic will be located within the Outer Banks Hospital
• Procedures will include colonoscopies, EGDs and related procedures
• Monday-Friday 8a-5p schedule will include seeing patients in an outpatient clinic as well as 1-2 procedure days per week
• Schedule includes 36 patient contact hours per week with the option of a 4 day work week
• Competitive Compensation and Comprehensive Benefit Package to include: Annual CME Stipend, Relocation, Vacation, Sick, & Holidays, Malpractice (with tail), 401k matching program/ 457b, Medical, Dental & Vision, Disability & Life Insurance
In addition to a competitive compensation and benefits plan, qualified applicants may also be eligible for loan repayment, sign-on bonus, income guarantees, and residency/fellowship paid commitment stipends.
