Jakes Heating & Air is actively seeking an experienced Senior HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. We are looking for a highly skilled technician with strong diagnostic abilities, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to independently handle residential HVAC service calls.

Responsibilities
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC systems independently
Perform advanced diagnostics on air conditioning systems, heat pumps, furnaces, and ventilation systems
Complete preventative maintenance and system inspections
Identify repair issues quickly and provide customers with clear solutions
Deliver exceptional customer service on every service call
Complete service documentation accurately and thoroughly
Follow company safety procedures and quality standards
Recommend repair and replacement solutions when appropriate
Work closely with dispatch and management teams to maintain daily efficiency
Assist in mentoring junior technicians when needed
Qualifications
Required
Minimum 5+ years of HVAC service technician experience
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
EPA Certification required
Experience servicing residential HVAC systems independently
Valid drivers license with clean driving record
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred
Experience with heat pumps, split systems, package units, and gas furnaces
Light commercial HVAC experience
NATE Certification preferred but not required
Experience mentoring junior technicians
Experience presenting repair recommendations to customers
