As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. You will respond to security-related concerns, document observations, and contribute to a welcoming environment. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Thur 06:45 AM - 03:00 PM Fri 06:45 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disruptive behavior, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following site protocols. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel. Maintain accurate activity and incident documentation and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site representatives. Minimum Requirements: A guard card or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification are preferred. The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
