Material Handler

Our client, a leading organization in logistics and distribution, is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting shipping, receiving, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Material Handler Location: Richmond, CA Pay Range: $19.00-$21.00/hr Shift: 7am-3:30pm What's the Job?- Perform daily routine tasks such as receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping materials
- Load and unload trucks and transportation containers efficiently and safely
- Prepare domestic and international goods for shipment, verifying against documentation
- Operate motorized and non-motorized equipment to move materials as instructed
- Assist in cycle counts of physical inventory and process paperwork using SAP transactions
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-2 years of related experience or equivalent education and training
- Experience operating warehouse equipment, including forklifts (certification preferred)
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with ERP systems is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand, sit, and walk for extended periods, and tolerate warehouse environments
