Brook Valley Salvage processes many millions of pounds annually playing an important role in recycling and creating many micro economic opportunities and providing jobs in third world countries.As a Brook Valley Export team member, your primary responsibility is to perform your duties according to company procedures and is a way that exceeds our customers' expectations as their satisfaction is our #1 objective.Duties and Essential Job Functions:Manually pulls materials from carts or storage bins and inspects for qualityAptitude to determine re-routing of materials quickly and efficientlyCompetence in determining grades of textiles and cloth quicklyKey job duties include:Sorting and moving product quicklyWorking independently or as part of a teamMaintaining cleanliness of work station and areaAccurately documents processing for warehouse reportingAdheres to all safety practices of the warehouse operationAbility to meet daily company quotas on a consistent basisPosition Qualifications:Ability to work in a fast paced environmentAttention to detailTeam PlayerAbility to communicate with floor supervisors and co-workersDemonstrated ability to meet quotasAbility to stand up at least 8 hours a dayAbility to lift and bend frequentlyAbility to lift up to 35 poundsAbility to speak conversational EnglishAdhering to company attendance requirements
