Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required before start
• Minimum 2 years of recent full-time Emergency Room / Emergency Department experience required; critical care experience is also valued
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NRP certifications preferred/required for compliance
• Strong clinical judgment in emergency nursing and high-acuity patient care
• Ability to work night shifts and provide consistent schedule reliability
• Blocked scheduling is not available
• Must be comfortable caring for patients across the lifespan
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and adaptability in a busy emergency setting

Responsibilities

• Provide expert emergency nursing care to patients with medical, trauma, cardiac, and neurological needs
• Perform rapid assessments, triage, and stabilization in a high-acuity Emergency Department
• Support treatment for a wide range of patients, including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, and other interdisciplinary team members
• Assist with urgent interventions and prepare critical patients for transfer when advanced specialty care is needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and deliver safe, compassionate care throughout the shift
• Contribute to a positive team culture while adapting to the fast pace of emergency nursing
