Direct Support Associate

Job Overview Direct Support Associate (DSA) to join Easterseals NH Community Based Services team. Supports individuals with developmental disabilities and complex medical needs living in residential homes. Schedule: Per diem. Pay: $24.00 per hour. Opportunity to attend paid internal NADSP training for certification and career advancement. Responsibilities Promote independence, create a safe environment, and provide companionship to clients in a residential home setting. Assist clients with activities of daily living such as personal care and medication administration. Assist with lifting, transferring, and mobility support. Support and assist with household tasks such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry. Accompany individuals on outings such as daily activities, appointments, and community events. Follow each individual's care plan. All staff will undergo training in conflict resolution and behavioral health safety. Complete required daily documentation on a computer or tablet. Other duties as needed or assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Must be 18 years of age or older. Experience providing direct support or direct care (preferred).
