Shift: 2:15 PM – 10:45 PM (Evening Shift)
Wages: $19.00 – $25.50/hour
Sign-On Bonus: $5,000

Job Summary:

The Skilled Nursing CNA provides compassionate care and support to residents by assisting with personal hygiene, daily living activities, comfort, transportation, and vital sign monitoring. This role is essential in promoting resident well-being and dignity.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Deliver resident-centered personal care including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, and psychosocial support.
• Obtain and record vital signs accurately.
• Assist residents with meals, snacks, hydration, and supplements.
• Ensure a positive and respectful dining experience.
• Support residents in transferring, repositioning, and walking using proper techniques and equipment.
• Provide range of motion and passive exercises.
• Document care and resident behavior in the electronic medical record system.
• Handle and dispose of linens and soiled items properly.
• Follow hand hygiene and PPE protocols consistently.

Basic Responsibilities:

• Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Fulfill obligations under the organization’s corporate compliance program.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

• Completion of an accredited nursing assistant training program approved by the state.

Licensure/Certification:

• Must hold a valid CNA certification.

Skills & Abilities:

• Effective communication and comprehension skills.
• Ability to perform assigned tasks and participate in required training and meetings.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records.

Knowledge:

• Ability to measure and understand quantities.

Physical/Mental Requirements:

• Ability to operate tools and equipment, communicate effectively, and respond to job tasks.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Must communicate fluently in English, both orally and in writing.
