Plans, manages and monitors accounting and finance activities and processes for maximum operating efficiency. Leads financial close execution, budgeting, regulatory compliance and systems optimization while providing leadership, guidance and direct coaching to staff members to build organizational capability and meet corporate goals.

Responsible for performance and activities of direct reports to include allocation of workload, goal setting, coaching, training and providing continuous feedback. recommends training, assigns projects, and provides other avenues for employee development opportunities; provides constructive feedback and coaching to members when necessary to encourage professional development.
Ensure financial strategies and departmental expenditures closely align with organizational objectives and financial guidelines.
Serves as key accountable leader for the timely and accurate closing of monthly, mid-year, and annual financial actuals while consistently meeting strict periodic closing schedules and corporate reporting deadlines.
Prepares, analyzes, and delivers executive-level financial reports, variance commentary, rolling forecasts, and strategic financial updates to executive leadership, international sales company, and the parent company.
Maintains, updates, and oversees enterprise financial and ERP systems (including Oracle, Hyperion, and custom reporting modules), integrating them with manufacturing workflows to drive operational efficiency, data integrity, and streamlined financial reporting.
Provides dedicated leadership, technical guidance, structured training, and mentorship to departmental staff. Build team capabilities, evaluate member performance, and enforce consistent adherence to standard operating procedures and accounting controls.
Continuously monitors departmental KPIs, evaluate existing accounting workflows to formulate and implement lean process improvements, and actively coordinate cross-functional financial operations across manufacturing, administrative, and corporate units.
Conducts US GAAP and IFRS compliance reviews to ensure strict adherence to relevant accounting standards. Maintains full compliance with applicable corporate financial policies, statutory regulations, internal accounting controls, and mandatory corporate tax and governmental filings.

Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience, and 5-8 years experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment and 2-5 years supervisory and/or project coordination experience.
Advanced proficiency in Enterprise Information Systems (Oracle ERP, Hyperion, NetSuite, or equivalent platforms).
Advanced mastery of Microsoft Excel (complex formulas, financial modeling, dynamic data management) and professional PowerPoint presentation development.
Comprehensive working knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, internal accounting controls, and capital asset management.
CPA, CMA, and/or MBA strongly preferred.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
