What You'll Do

• Provide expert nursing care to post-anesthesia patients based on the nursing process.
• Assess patient needs, implement care plans, and evaluate outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure smooth patient recovery.
• Delegate tasks appropriately and lead with professionalism and compassion.
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and facility standards.
• Document accurately and communicate effectively with patients and staff.
• Adapt care to meet the diverse needs of patients and their families.

What You Need

• Required:
• Current RN license in Louisiana
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI (current certifications)
• Minimum 2 years of PACU or relevant acute care experience
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proficiency in electronic medical records and related software
• Preferred:
• Bachelor's degree in nursing or higher
• Specialty certifications in perioperative or critical care
