Registered Nurse Orthopedic/Neuro-spine
Schedule: Shift: 12-hour nights - Contract Length: Minimum 13 weeks
Assignment Details: Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 hours pay options
Requirements: Minimum 2 years clinical RN experience - Must have orthopedic experience - Epic experience required for first-time travelers - Required Certifications: BLS (BCLS), NIHSS - Preferred Certifications: ACLS
Roles & Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the orthopedic, neuro-spine, med-surg, and post-surgical settings. Monitor and manage post-operative care and patient pain management effectively. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Assist with patient education and discharge planning. Maintain accurate patient records using the Epic charting system.
Compliance / Notes: Weekend requirement: Every other weekend required. Orientation: Approximately 36 hours (may offer 48 hours). Must pass EKG testing prior to start. Candidates must complete lab testing within 48 hours after signing.
